Brepols出版社于1796年在比利时成立，是一家国际性的人文学科学术出版社，其出版物聚焦古典及中世纪时期的西方文明，Brepols出版社的使命是为学术界出版在欧洲文化根源影响范围内具有杰出学术声誉的作品。这些出版物主要涉及：欧洲文化研究、欧洲区域研究、中世纪历史、中世纪哲学、古文字学、语言文学、社会学、思想史、科技史、建筑史、艺术史、音乐史等。我们提供原版学术文献，涉及多种语言：英语、法语，德语、西班牙语、意大利语和荷兰语，以及拉丁语、希腊语、奥克西坦语等古老语言。出版项目包括：20多种电子数据库；50多份电子期刊；2100多种电子书。
